Two downloads connect your player to your shows: the fpp-SETIQ plugin for Falcon Player and the native xSchedule plugin. Grab the one that matches your box, then follow its install guide. A few other files come straight out of the tools — we point you to those at the bottom.
Which one do you need?
It depends on what plays your sequences at night. If your show runs on a Falcon Player box, you want the FPP plugin. If you run xSchedule on a Windows PC, you want the xSchedule plugin. You don’t need both.
- Falcon Player (FPP) — a Pi or BeagleBone running FPP. Use the fpp-SETIQ plugin.
- xSchedule — the xLights scheduler on a Windows PC. Use the xSchedule plugin.
fpp-SETIQ plugin (for Falcon Player)
This plugin lets your FPP box talk to your shows. It pulls down setlists, reports which sequences are loaded, and sends commands back up. It’s the bridge between SET:IQ and your lights.
Here’s the nice part: it isn’t a file you download. FPP installs it straight from GitHub. In the FPP UI, go to Content Setup → Plugin Manager, find SET:IQ + REQ:IQ, and click Install. If it’s not in the list, install by URL with this manifest:

- Cost: none. The source is public, so you can read every line before you install.

xSchedule plugin (for xLights users)
xSchedule has no plugin manager, so this one is a real file you save: the native xScheduleSETIQ.dll. It pulls your setlists into xSchedule the same way the FPP plugin does, so your shows stay in sync without hand-copying playlists.
We stream the file from our own server, so the link starts the download on the same site you’re reading now — no third-party hops.

Verify what you downloaded
A plugin runs on the same box as your lights, so it’s worth a ten-second safety check. The FPP plugin needs no check — FPP installs it from the public repo, so what you get is what’s on GitHub. For the xSchedule.dll, you can confirm the file is the one we shipped.
- Check the size. A finished download should match the size we list (≈720 KB). A tiny file usually means the download was cut short — grab it again.
- Keep it from us. Only install the plugin from this site or the official GitHub repo. A plugin from a random link can do anything your box can do.
